Today at the Club Financiero Génova we will enjoy the presentation of the book by Teodoro García Egea, Criptoeconomía, an ode to these assets, with a foreword by former minister Juan Costa.
In Teodoro’s words: “It is something I am passionate about, because all the technology that crypto encompasses is the future, and in Europe, by refusing to see it, we may be missing the boat. It is a revolution that I compare to that of the internet, because it allows value to be sent and received remotely and without the need for intermediaries. Loans, mortgages, financing and investment can be obtained peer to peer and with complete security. It is something that forever changes an economic system that had not moved in 100 years“.
Great professionals like Teodoro driving this sector provide institutional confidence, an adoption that is yet to come with the upcoming MiCA regulation, under which we will find greater protection for investors.
In addition to being a member of parliament, Teodoro holds a PhD in Engineering from the School of Industrial Engineering of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT), is a Telecommunications Engineer from the UPCT, and has completed doctoral courses in Industrial Technologies along with a subprogram in Neurotechnology, Control, Robotics and Energy Management.
