Oracle brings frontier AI to the heart of enterprise computing with OpenAI to transform the way organizations work.

Oracle AI World, Las Vegas — October 27, 2026

Oracle and OpenAI

Oracle today announced a major collaboration with OpenAI to redefine how the world’s businesses operate in the AI era. By integrating OpenAI’s models, ChatGPT and Codex with Oracle’s applications, data and cloud infrastructure, the two companies are applying AI directly to the systems and operations used by the customers who power the global economy. An expanded set of products brings this approach to life, helping people work with AI across systems, enabling them to build and deploy applications, detect and fix security vulnerabilities, and giving entrepreneurs an integrated foundation to build and run businesses.

“OpenAI is transforming the way companies solve business problems, from chat to coding to data analysis and autonomous agents,” said Clay Magouyrk, CEO of Oracle. “With this new suite of products, we are bringing together its transformative AI capabilities with Oracle’s applications, data and cloud infrastructure: technology that companies around the world trust to run their most critical operations.”

“More and more companies are choosing OpenAI because we make it easy for them to integrate AI through the tools and systems they already use,” said Greg Brockman, president and co-founder of OpenAI. “Our expanded partnership with Oracle helps more businesses access this opportunity, bringing frontier AI into day-to-day operations so teams can build software faster, strengthen security and tackle more complex knowledge work.”

Oracle and OpenAI are applying AI across business operations, application development, cybersecurity and business creation:

Run your business through ChatGPT

OpenAI and Oracle share the ambition of setting the standard for the agent-ready enterprise. The two companies are collaborating across the entire innovation cycle to transform Oracle’s applications for agents and integrate them into a unified experience in ChatGPT.

Oracle AI Workspace delivers a unified user experience that integrates OpenAI’s frontier models with Oracle’s applications, enterprise data and cloud services. Through ChatGPT plugins in Oracle AI Workspace, employees can access information, complete approved business workflows and take action together with Oracle systems. It is designed to connect Oracle Fusion Applications, Oracle NetSuite, Oracle AI Database, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and other enterprise tools and data sources.

Oracle AI Workspace will make all of Oracle’s capabilities available to ChatGPT users, whether for agents or for immediate use. Users will be able to describe their business goals, and these plugins in ChatGPT will bring together the Oracle tools and information needed to achieve them. With ChatGPT, Oracle AI Workspace builds AI directly into the business workflow, while maintaining the governance, approvals and controls required for enterprise operations.

Strengthen security with Frontier AI

Oracle and OpenAI are working together to make it easier for organizations to implement advanced security testing. Oracle AI Security Mesh, a managed service that uses OpenAI’s cyber models, helps customers detect and fix vulnerabilities in their applications and infrastructure on OCI, other clouds and on-premises environments before attackers can exploit them.

The service combines OpenAI’s frontier cyber models with Oracle’s testing tools, independent validation, testing infrastructure and operational safeguards managed by Oracle, so customers don’t need to build or operate their own agent-based defensive/offensive systems. Customers define where testing is authorized and control its scope, while Oracle manages the safeguards to reduce the risk of business disruptions or issues during testing.

Turn your ideas into business applications.

Oracle App Composer helps employees turn ideas into business applications that solve recurring business challenges, with no coding skills required to build or maintain them. Users can build applications with Codex, while Oracle manages deployment and operations on OCI. Oracle App Composer connects applications to approved Oracle data and workflows and provides access to OCI services, including OCI Kubernetes Engine and Oracle Autonomous AI Database. It also applies enterprise-grade identity, permissions, networking, auditing and application lifecycle controls, helping organizations take AI-generated applications from initial idea to secure deployment at scale.

Oracle App Composer also supports APEXlang, a new Oracle technology that gives customers the speed of generative development without producing opaque, hard-to-maintain application code.

Build your business with AI from day one.

Oracle AI SMB Bundle is a new free offering that provides $12,000 in Oracle Cloud credits each year, giving small businesses the AI tools they need to build products, run their operations and scale. It includes ChatGPT Business for everyday work, Oracle AI Workspace to access business applications and data through ChatGPT, Codex and Oracle App Composer to build applications, and OCI to deploy them. The bundle also includes NetSuite QuickStart, which provides a foundation for managing core operations such as invoicing and cash flow. Terms, conditions and restrictions apply.
